Stefanos Katsulis is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, specializing in the Law of International Trade (institutional and substantive dimension). He is also a graduate of the School of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He holds a postgraduate degree in International Economic Relations and a degree from the Department of International and European Economic and Political Studies, University of Macedonia.

His research interests focus on regional trade relations, forms of economic integration (free trade areas and customs unions), the implementation of international trade law, and on issues concerning the international protection of human rights and culture.

Moreover, as an active member of civil society in Thessaloniki, he is Chairman of the Group for UNESCO Youth Thessaloniki. Also being an assistant to Professor P. Naskou-Perraki, Academic Responsible for organizing the International Model United Nations simulation Thessaloniki (ThessISMUN). He speaks English fluently, as well as having strong German and French language skills.
